Subject:   Website use of NCHM Article

Dear Adam,   It has been brought to my attention that your website, www.marijuanafactorfiction.net, is using an article I wrote a short time ago, entitled "I (Don't) Want To Take You Higher."

This article appeared as part of the Compliance Corner section of the website of the National Center for Housing Management, Inc., a private non-profit educational organization.

In investigating this matter, I used the following link: http://www.marijuanafactorfiction.net/notice.htm and discovered that my by-line and affiliation had been altered so that it reads: "By Mark S. Alper, RHM NCHM Director of Compliance Services OF HUD."  My column is also inaccurately identified as a "Notice from HUD."   While you are certainly welcome to reference the article or link to it, and I stand by it as an accurate reflection of my conversations with relevant HUD staff, please let me make clear the following:   1. I am not employed by, nor do I have any affiliation with, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development;   2. I do not represent myself in any manner as being a current employee of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development;   3. I am the Director of Compliance for the aforementioned National Center for Housing Management, Inc., and have been so employed since September of 1990   4. The words "of HUD" do not appear in connection with this article as written and prepared by me, or on our website.   Since the suggestion that I am affiliated in any way with a federal agency is both inaccurate and misleading, I ask that you be so kind as to remove the words "of HUD" from my identifying information as soon as possible.  Again, you are welcome to use or link to the article if you find it interesting and/or beneficial to your intended audience.   Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.   Best regards, Mark   Mark S. Alper, RHM Director of Compliance National Center for Housing Management, Inc.

[ AS YOU CAN SEE HUD IS USING THIS TO HURT PEOPLE AND MARK ALPER HAS NO CONNECTION TO THEM SO HE CLAIMS BUT YET FEDERAL HUD UNITS USE WHAT HE SAYS AS THE LAW. ]

THIS IS ANOTHER CASE OF PASSING THE BUCK WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS HOW LITTLE GOVERNMENT CARES ABOUT IT'S PEOPLE.
